Greetings…
My name is Robin Wiesneth and I’m an artist who paints quirky yet realistic scenes of whimsy and charm. More than anything, I love to create art that makes people smile. My work often features fanciful scenes like dogs flying toy rockets and life-like predators with cartoon prey. I work primarily with acrylics on canvas but sometimes explore mixed media compositions and paint on a variety of surfaces (including clothing!)
When I’m is not creating whimsical art from my imagination, I’m busy doing commission portraits of dogs and other pets. No request is too crazy and my commission work ranges from traditional portraits to silly imaginary settings. You can view a few of my recent commission portraits here.
I share new ideas for paintings and ‘Work in Progress’ here and on Facebook. For those of you lucky enough to visit or live on the gulf coast of Florida near Destin, you can see my original work at Retail Therapy in Santa Rosa Beach, Sawyer Art in Destin, and other local shops.
