On the road tomorrow headed back to Florida, this song keeps playing in my head…

It was a great trip north to visit friends, followed by some much needed work on the boat in Virginia – Charles is still there doing the hard bits. I’m winding things up with a few great days at Mom and Dad’s.

But now…

I’m out of clean clothes, Tucker (the cat that’s with me), won’t get off my lap (when he’s not under the bed whining), my new kitten “Jack” has forgotten all about me, our mail forwarding request has expired, it’s getting colder up here and I only packed my summer gear, My car trunk and backseat are full of accumulated stuff, I haven’t drawn or painted anything in 4 weeks, I forgot to request an absentee ballot for the General Election, and my Florida friends have stopped asking me when I’m coming back…

Sandestin here we come…
