Do you ever do something interesting or cool and think, “I’d like to tell the world about it!”  Yes? Wow, so glad it’s not just me…

I have not posted on Instructables.com for a while but every now and then I get a comment to one of my older posts and I have to smile. Here’s a link to a post I created showing the wonderful possibilities of Gorilla Glue and recycled materials:

The Instructables post takes you step-by-step through creating some totally awesome cardboard emergency flip-flops.

The only use I ever found for them was storing them in my trunk in case I had a random urge for a pedicure and needed something to wear home with my freshly painted toenails…

Regardless, it was a fun exercise in preparing material to show someone else how something is done. If you browse the thousands of post on Instructables you will find many cool projects that you might like to take on yourself. The cool part is that each post was created by someone like me who just wanted to share something cool with the rest of the world.

I like the sound of that and I like what it says about us, the human race. Each of us, in a tiny way, trying to make the world a ( better / more fun / exciting / more comfortable / more eco-friendly / insert your words here ) place…
